Leash walks including general reactivity training, how to pass dogs, cats, and people. Dogs are taught to walk with minimal leash tension. We practice known commands at intervals and sitting before crossing the street.
At the end of the service, the pet parent will receive detailed tracking information as well as a visit summary to keep track of progress or incidents.

If you prefer, I am happy to meet you and your pets for a formal introduction. Please be sure to answer reactivity and allergy questions before the visit.
How to reinforce training
Train 80% Success Rate
To remain challenged and interested in training, it’s ideal for pups to have consistent challenges. If pups are having >20% missed cues, make it easier to build their confidence and slowly build to the command. Ask for commands at different intervals to increase accuracy and mental enrichment.
Access is Granted
Dogs thrive with structure! Prompt them to sit and wait for release. This is the best way to enter and exit home, doorways, elevators and cross streets. Do this consistently to set yourself up for calmer, safer walks. On walks if you experience leash pressure, stop and ask for focus. Reinforce when pup is beside you, walking with no tension or greeting you with paws on the ground.
Consistency is Key
When your pup performs an action, each response is either reinforcing or corrective. Reward with praise, affection or treats. If pups are doing something that warrants correction, offer them a fingertip-pressure leash correction and prompt them to sit and refocus. Offer a desired task to do instead.
Breathe Calm Confidence
When emotions shift easily, your pup is less likely to follow your lead. Stay calm and offer calculated guidance. If you are feeling overwhelmed, stay in place while you work through the emotions and move forward when you feel balanced. Your pup is likely to be more protective/defensive when you are in a sensitive state.
